Happy Tails! Patti
and Zena:

Patti says:
"she's definately getting big and she's
really pretty. Its amazing how fast she's
growing. She's really very happy and her big
brother is getting used to her and when she
bothers him too much he just bops her on the head
with his paw. She's got the softest fur and big
eyes! We call her our bobble head sometimes --
her eyes are so big and she tries to see
everything all around at one time and she looks
like a bobble head. Shes very sweet and we're
glad that she's part of our family."
Ryann And Fred
Atkinson and Magnolia Jane:

With three cats in the
household already it was unlikely that the
Atkinson's would want another cat. There were
several near misses with kittens at RFOM like
Smudge. But when Ella and her three kittens came
to stay at the foster apt just below the
Atkinsons, Ryann became a regular visiter.
Magnolia, in her kitten wisdom knew what Mrs
Atkinson did not; that she had chosen to live
upstairs.
With a few weeks to convince
her husband that Magnolia was indeed part of
their cat family, Ryann set about at once to
pamper and bond with the little princess kitty.
As you can see in the pictures above, the new
addition to the Atkinson household is very well
adjusted and happy. Some of her hobbies include
taking baths and showers with her new mom and dad
(yes..she loves water and even cries to get into
the sink), Stalking and capturing peanuts from
the squirrel stash Fred keeps for feeing his
squirrel freinds, and hiding them in the laundry
along with other exciting finds. Her big brothers
Radek Bonk and Little Boy are always up for some
big fun and her sister Cleeby is teaching her
that big sisters are the boss. The Atkinsons have
made a wonderful home for Princess Peanut.
David,
Nancy and Coco:

Who would have thought that on
that rainy Saturday afternoon, we would have a
new addition to our family? We were not looking
for a new member of the family, but there is a
reason for everything & walking into the Pet
Smart & seeing Coco for the first time, we
knew we wanted to take care of her & give her
a good home. After the first night we were not
sure we would be able to keep her-our 1st baby
(Hazel) and Coco did not get along very well, but
after a few days, they were the best of buddies!
Coco loves to run on the beach (but she prefers
to dig in the sand & chew on skate eggs). She
is such a loving & happy puppy-my mushy
snuggle puppy. I couldn't imagine her not being
in our family-even our cat Nala loves the
puppy-they roll around & play all the time.
Coco is one of the best things to happen to us-we
are very lucky to have her in our family. ~David

Ginger
and Bethann:

Bethann Says: My new baby, I
call her Ginger (you called her Betty Boop) is
adjusting very well. At first she was a bit
skittish, but she is relaxing more each day. She
is becoming more and more affectionate with me. I
think she is learning to trust me and enjoy
attention from me. She sits in my lap each
morning as I sit up in bed, drinking my coffee
and watching the news. She is a companion to my
cat Angel and they are getting along very well. I
often come home to find the two of them sleeping
peacefully on my bed.
Once I decided to get a companion for my cat
Angel, I was on a mission.
I visited three shelters in two days. When I got
to Room for One More,
Ginger was in Rockaway at an adoption event. So I
drove from RFOM to
Rockaway. I truly believe it was meant to be.
After a few minutes with her, I knew she was the
perfect cat for me and Angel. It's been
wonderful; we are all very happy. Thanks again
for all you do!
Havoc
and Katie:

Katie Says: I adopted a cat from you
guys almost 3 years ago. His name is Havoc and he
is a domestic short haired cat. he is very
affectionate to me and follows me around
everywhere. whenever I come home he greets me,
and he only eats when I am eating at the table
with him. if he sees me laying on my bed he'll
jump right up and join me. when he meets new
people he is a little shy, but as soon as he gets
to know you he'll follow you around too.
I remember when I went, havoc was in with his
litter mates and mother... 3 other little
black/tuxedo kittens. Havoc didn't have a name,
so I chose him. He and his brother panda were
fighting for a mouse toy that was hanging from
the ceiling. I want to get another cat but Havoc
is a little bit of a drama queen
